Causes Of Sinus Infections

In sinus infection, air is filled or spaces filled with air are observed between the face and head bones. Sinus is developed earlier than the birth, and in some cases, it keeps on growing until the age of 21. Sinus infection occurs due to inflammation in nasal passages and sinuses. Symptoms of sinus infections are terrible smell in breath, fever, cough, and headache. In some cases, pain in tooth, eyelid and eyebrows occurs; it is severe pain condition, which usually is intolerable.

Viral infection in respiratory tract is followed by sinusitis but in many cases, it can be happen that pollution bacteria, allergens etc. can cause sinusitis of acute nature. Inflammation is causes when virus damages cells of sinus. As we know that inflammation in sinus leads to sinus infection. Thus, viral infection, allergens etc. are one of the causes of sinus infections. Fungus is another reason of causing sinus infection, although fungi are harmless to our body but fungi in form of mold affect our body. Molds are green and black color fungus, which usually found in walls and indoors where there is no sunlight; it affects health of people in many ways.

Due to changes in hormones, pregnant woman are more likely to have sinus infection. In this way, hormone changes are among causes of sinus infections. Discharge of nasal, fever, cough and cold are some symptoms carried by pregnant woman most often in sinus infection. Another cause of sinus infection is tiny hairs, you must be amazed to read this but it is true. Tiny hairs in nose or in nasal passage, also considered as cilia, get damage because of humidity deficiency, smoke and other reasons. These reasons are also responsible for damaging sinus cavities, which are helpful in moving out mucous from nasal. Mucous get stagnate & provide the bacteria a best place to develop and cause infection. Various bacteria are responsible for many problems; also these are causes of sinus infections.

Sinus infection is of two types, first is chronic infection, it is long lasting infection, which usually provides severe conditions. Other is acute infection, it occur all of sudden and does not last for long period. Prevention is better than cure; preventing the causes of sinus infection would help in avoiding it up to great extent. In addition, causes can be helpful in determining the appropriate solutions for treatment of sinus infection.

Causes Of Sinus Infections

Sinus infection is highly responsible for causing severe headache, it is a condition, which is very painful, and one fails to respond to the daily schedule working because it makes a person very uncomfortable. There are several other causes depending on the geographical conditions in person is living. Causes can recognized by the symptoms for e.g. if a person if suffering from sore throat then cause must be bacterial infection in back area of neck or sinus drainage. At last, it can be stated depending on the above statements that bacteria are major causes of sinus infections, so one needs to prevent bacteria from his surrounding such as mold, fungi etc.
